Visiting China

Belong to a Chinese dating site? Visit Beijing

If you belong to a Chinese dating site, there is a good chance you might be making a trip to China in the very near future. When you visit the country, you might want to know how to tour the city of Beijing with a romantic focus, so we’ve put some ideas together to help you get started!

Your favorite Chinese dating site might not tell you just how spectacular Beijing is. Although it might not seem like it at first, it is a great city for an unconventional yet completely romantic getaway. Here’s why:

  • Plush hotels. Like any metropolitan city, Beijing offers a number of plush hotels that are perfect for a romantic weekend away. Whether you want imperial or modern luxury, this city offers something for everyone. Consider the likes of Aman at Summer Palace, the Park Hyatt Beijing, or even the Commune by the Great Wall.
  • Endless sights. You’ll want to see the Great Wall when you visit China, but the country has a lot of other wonderful places to experience as well. Stroll through Ritan Park or Beihai Park to catch a glimpse of tranquil temples and luscious landscapes. You might also want to check out the Forbidden City.
  • The restaurants. Food is intertwined deeply within the Chinese culture, and you’ll definitely want to experience the local cuisine on your trip to Beijing. For an urban date night, check out the Metro Café or the Green T House for an avant-garde fusion feel. Don’t miss Source, a Sichuan restaurant housed in a restored Qing Dynasty mansion.

Have a great time!

Asian dating leads you to China? Know business hours

For many, Asian dating online inevitably leads to a trip to China to meet in person.  And for some, this journey may be one’s very first trip to China – a beautiful country with lots of history and culture, much of it very different from countries in the West.

But are business hours very different?  Travelers should know the basics, which we are happy to share with you!

  • The Chinese workweek is typically five days from Monday through Friday consisting of eight hours a day and no more than 44 hours per week.  Saturdays and Sundays are usually off.
  • Most businesses are open during the week from 8:00 AM to 6:00PM, with a lunch break usually from 12:00PM to 2:00PM.  These hours may vary slightly based on the business and location.  Government offices adhere to the same schedule, but are typically open from 9:00AM to 5:00PM during the week only.
  • Scenic sights, post offices, and banks are typically open from about 8:30AM to 6:00PM, but hours may vary.  Hospitals and other medical centers are also usually open 24-hours a day.  Hotels, supermarkets, department stores, restaurants, bars, and most shops are also open daily, including public holidays.
  • Coach stations, airports, and railway stations are open from the first outbound trip to the last, some of which are 24-hours a day.  However, some ticket counters inside may be closed during that period.

Of course, if you plan to visit China because of your successful Asian dating, you’ll also need to remember that the country has a number of public holidays.  It is during these holidays that the business hours mentioned above may be modified or places may be closed so always check before you travel!

Choosing the right Beijing hotel to impress Asian women

When you’re dating Asian women online, a trip to China is often the next step. This allows you to meet in person and see if the connection is real. Sometimes, meeting in a major city like Beijing makes the most sense, so be sure to plan a trip to remember.

Choosing a hotel in a city like Beijing is not difficult because there are so many to choose from, and most of them are quite luxurious. The hotel scene in Beijing hasn’t always been so lavish, but today it is defined by a swarm of polished palaces.

For example, the Grand Hyatt Beijing has that real “wow factor” and is situated near Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Lush vegetation, statues and waterfalls surround the huge glass façade and Olympic-sized swimming pool. Cherry wood furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows and luxurious spa treatments add to the appeal.

The Park Hyatt Beijing is another example of a beautiful Beijing hotel that is sure to impress Asian women. It offers plenty of pampering with spa-inspired guestrooms and private bathrooms featuring oversized rain showers, deep soak tubs, and heated floors. The rooftop pool and spa offer 360-degree views of the city.

For the epitome of blissful indulgence, the Aman at Summer Palace is a luxury hotel that perfectly marries luxury and peace. Have breakfast overlooking a reflecting lotus pool, indulge in one’s shopping impulses in the boutique, or melt stress away in the spa. All of this comes with a private entrance to the Summer Palace.

Are you ready to splurge on that trip to Beijing? Now you know where to stay!

Visiting China to meet Asian women? Tips for leaving

If you’re talking to a few Asian women living in China that you’d like to meet, there are some things you need to know about leaving the country.  You are probably already aware that you need a passport and a visa to get into China, but did you know that there are also rules about leaving?

When it comes to leaving China, you must have a valid visa and passport, just like you needed upon arrival.  If your visa expired or you lost your passport while visiting China, you won’t be permitted to leave.  Depending on where you are in the country, it could take up to a week to get the visa replaced, so be sure to pay attention to the dates on your visa.

If you happen to lose your passport, you will need to replace not only the passport but also your visa.  The first step is always to report your passport as lost or stolen to Chinese authorities and then follow the steps for getting a replacement.  Remember to do this in the city in which you lost the passport or you might run into complications. Depending on where you are, you will either need to visit the local police department or the Entry/Exit Bureau.

You might already know that if you are visiting China, you are required to register your place of residence for the visit with the local authorities unless you’re staying at a hotel, in which case the staff will do this for you.  If you happen to only be passing through China in your travels to meet Asian women, you don’t need to register or get a longer visa as you will be there for less than 24 hours and stay within the airport.
